Her Last Months Of Pregnancy Required Bed Rest

Some of our clients have no place to go when illness or other calamity wipes out their finances.  This young couple was delighted to be having their first baby.  However, early in the pregnancy, the mother had problems and was soon put on total bed rest.  Their income was reduced to about 40% of normal during these months, and they began to fall behind on utilities, house payments and a car payment.

When the baby was born the mother had planned to return to work as soon as feasible.  Then they learned their baby boy had a serious colon problem which required surgery.  Another problem requires therapy throughout the day, so a day care is out of the question.  Even though she is highly qualified to do secretarial work, she is stuck at home.

In His Name Ministries wants to make two house payments and pay up old utility bills.  Please consider helping.  All of your designated gift will be used for the needs of this family.

Cases of need that are not publicized -- we do interviews with  more than one thousand persons each year.  Most of these individuals have critical financial needs that require resolution in one to five days.   Donations given to our general fund are used to help these families. 

Each year about 75 of these cases are put on the web.

We are pleased to present these web cases and to offer viewers the chance to designate who will benefit from their donation.  However, this is only a small part of the overall outreach of this ministry.
