THIS NEED HAS BEEN MET

51 year old is a single man and has no children. He is employed by Thomasville Furniture - on a commission basis. He started this job two weeks ago. He receives food stamps $157.00.  He had his own business in landscape lighting but he wasn't able to make a living at it.
He needs assistance with Edmond Electric $112.52.

NEEDS A LITTLE ENCOURAGEMENT

Michael was referred by St. Monica - he has a list of numbers. St. John's
and Hope Center helped him in the past.
He reads his Bible occasionally - reads Open Windows. Prays daily - he does
listen.

Our interviewer prayed with him for this need, for a deeper understanding of the Lord and His ways, for favor among men on his job.

He was raised Lutheran but his mother has since become Baptist. He doesn't understand the Baptist teachings - not the religion he was familiar with.  We visited for sometime after we prayed. He had questions about the Holy Spirit, Baptism, the Lord's Supper. Our interviewer shared some thoughts and scriptures to help him understand the Holy Spirit and His work in our lives. Also a little about baptism and the Lord's Supper. Invited him to call back and visit more. Michael seemed very interested in learning more about the Lord.
