Her husband is incarcerated
Lost Job
This single mother of two was doing home
daycare but lost her client.
She is seeking other employment. She receives food
stamps $401.00, SEC. 8. Her husband is incarcerated.
Assistance with ONG $175.84 to restore service. Service was disconnected
last Friday. She has gas water heater, and stove. No hot water. Using
a hot plate to cook on.
She contacted Hope Center - won't help again.
She was referred her to St. John's the Baptist Catholic Church,
Shepherd's of Love, Henderson Hills Baptist.
The children attend a local church - she doesn't attend church.
She is not reading her Bible - she is praying daily.
Our interviewer encouraged her to listen for answers from the Lord
during her pray time. This was a productive visit.
She was crying when she called.
The interviewer spent sometime helping her refocus her life on the Lord.
She was very grateful. She was reminded of God's faithfulness to sustain
her in the past.
She was encouraged to get into a local fellowship and to read her Bible
daily. The interviewer prayed with her for this need, for a job, for her
son (who is a little rebellious), for a closer walk with the Lord. She
was invited to call back if she needed prayer or some spiritual
encouragement.
