UPDATE: 09-26-05 The children's mother is incarcerated. Another Grandmother Raising Children. She knows the Lord, has served him as an active member in her church, but circumstances had weighted her down. On a small budget she is responsible for five grandchildren, one of whom is only two. Our interviewer said, "I spent about 15 minutes just ministering to her to get her focus off of the OG&E Bill and back on to Jesus. "She was getting very discouraged but is doing better now. I prayed with her and suggested that she pray before calling any other agencies. Also suggested she contact some one else that might be hurting and encourage them." An important part of this ministry's outreach is befriending, discipling and encouraging those who contact us. There is a widespread need for this.
