Connecting Caring Persons With neighbors in need since 1983. About In His Name Ministries -- we do lengthy interviews with approximately two thousand persons each year. Most of these individuals have critical financial needs that require resolution in one to five days. Donations given to our general fund are used to help many of these families. Only about 75 of cases, on average, are put on the web each year. We are pleased to present these web cases and to offer viewers the chance to designate who will benefit from their donation. However, this is only a small part of the overall outreach of this ministry. After you read stories of need on this web, you have the choice of selecting one (or more) to help, or to send a donation to the ministry that will be used to help one of the many unpublicized cases.

Oklahoma City Case 6362rub
Children awakened Rapist Attacks Mother of Three
The attack occurred three days prior to our interview. She had contacted us about a financial need and in the course of our conversation the attack was mentioned. FINANCIAL PLIGHTSURGERY She had taken time off work (without pay) for breast surgery. She was barely scrapping by, then her child support check was reduced to only $35.00 per month. Fortunately her part of the rent is only $80.00 after the Housing Authority pays their part. OTHER EXPENSES
The car needs a water pump and the tag is out of date. She is a physical therapy home aid who depends on her car to do her job. This story shows the plight of those in poverty. There just isn't enough income to cover all the basics. THE FAMILYShe has raised her children well. One boy age 18 has returned to Muskogee where he grew up. The other two are ages 13 and 15. The older boy was the most valuable player this season on the basketball team. He already is receiving letters from colleges. His mother was saddened that she had no money for the sports banquet. She said, her son understood their situation and did not complain. OUR MINISTRY TO HERWe shall to continue our conversations with her to encourage her as she strives to normalize her life. Please consider helping. If you contact In His Name about this case please refer to Case 6362rub
