another and gives particular praise to those who take care of
widows, orphans and the destitute. It is the job of the Church to
lead the way. In His Name Ministries mission is to offer

Financial woes add to her suffering
Disruption of income is a common cause of
short-term poverty. Some persons can make quick adjustments and
move on. But not everyone, Irene’s dilemma is a case in point.
During the time of her husbands terminal illness, she developed
a chronic ailment that effected her walking. It has grown worse.
They subsisted on his Social Security, but when he died she now
receives only $149.00 in Food Stamps. Her leg
prevents her from working as a waitress, the only work she has
known. Her church helped on the replacement of an air
conditioning unit.
She may eventually qualify for a small disability check, but
that is just a future possibility.
In His Name Ministries wants to give her some relief
financially as we minister to her. Please consider sending an
earmarked donation for Irene. Her most pressing current needs
amount to just under $300.00.
As new cases of need come to our attention daily, we must use
general funds to help on these emerging needs. However this
appeal helps us focus on Irene’s needs; all funds sent to case
8298ire will go toward her household bills
