The Bible calls upon all of us to support one
another and gives particular praise to those who take care of
widows, orphans and the destitute. It is the job of the Church to
lead the way. In His Name Ministries mission is to offer
Christians an outlet for locating and aiding the needy.

CASE
# 8308joh
UPDATE, 09-05-2005
Financial woes add to her suffering
Johnetra Raising Four
Children in Poverty
Disruption of income is a common cause of
short-term poverty. Some persons can make quick adjustments and
move on. But not everyone, Johnetra’s dilemma is a case in point.
Single mother with two sons 15yrs, 14yrs and two daughters
11yrs, 13yrs. She is currently unemployed. She was working for a
Temp Service but her assignment ended in June. She is seeking
employment, but her skill level makes it difficult. She needs
our encouragement.
INCOME?
She is receiving food stamps $592.00 and reduced rent housing.
They need assistance with ONG $322.00. Service has been
off since April.
She has contacted several church organizations and agencies to
no avail.
She attends Greater Mount Zion Baptist. She said, they don't help
with financial needs.
She reads her Bible most days, prays daily. Our interviewer
talked with her about prayer and the importance of listening to
the Lord for any possible direction, correction or guidance.
He prayed with her for this need, for her children, and for a
job.
