Case 8619gar

Cancer in Mouth

This person who lives alone receives a V.A. Disability check, $846.00. He has cancer of the mouth that so far has required five surgery's.

He moved a few months ago so he is still recovering from his moving expenses.  Has a list of agency numbers a friend gave him. No else has talked with him at this time.
He attends St. Joseph's - we suggested he contact them. However, from our experience this parish seldom has funds for household expenses.
He told our interviewer that he reads his Bible most days and prays. He is on heavy pain medication which makes it hard for him to stay awake. "I Prayed with him for healing, and for God's comfort."
