An old bill brought forward              

76 year-old Has no gas heat

Years ago her son left town owing the gas utility company.  He now lives with her after loosing his business in Seattle. ONG learned that he was there, so this old bill was added to hers.  She couldn't pay it, so her service has been turned off.

HEALTH

She fell and hurt her side three years ago. She normally earns extra money housecleaning, baby sitting.

A friend loaned her two electric heaters; she and her two dogs stay in one room since her gas heat no longer works.

Her husband divorced her 30 years ago.

She grew up in Chickasha, OK, attended the First Christian Church. She said during the Great Depression her mother fed hundreds of hobos who hopped off freight trains near their home.
