Oklahoma City Case 8687wil
Raising Two teenagers Dialysis Patient
THIS NEED HAS BEEN MET!
He is on two transplant lists, one in Oklahoma and at Baylor in Dallas He is a single parent responsible for raising two sons ages sixteen and fourteen. Their mother is incarcerated. He works at a dialysis center earning $650.00 every two weeks. This income is almost adequate, but any extra expenses create a budgetary problem. He receives no assistance from any governmental agency and no health benefits for the children.
SPIRITUAL POSITION They attend a small Baptist Church. Our interviewer talked with him about having a quite time each day. He suggested using the devotional Our Daily Bread and gave him the address to request it. He shared with him how the Lord desires to spend time with us each day, and how it can grow and strengthen us spiritually. The client said he wanted to do that. They prayed together for healing of his kidneys, for strength to go to work and to raise his boys. Then invited him to call back anytime to visit or for prayer.
