70 year-old woman's husband a stroke victim Income Stopped Her husband had a massive stroke last month. He is now paralyzed on the right side. He has some memory loss, his speech has returned. She thought he had one more check coming from his job but he doesn't. He is at Baptist Medical Center. Only income now She receives Social Security, $580.00. We suggested she apply for food stamps. Their Future They may need to look hard at their alternatives. Obviously something has to give. For now IHNM would like to give them some immediate relief.
