Case 9124bob
A Korean War veteran
75-year old Man
Seeks Employment to Cover Overdue Dwelling Costs
UPDATE--July 26, 2006
He has a job as a fry cook at a Sonic Drive-in. He gets
40-hour per week
Worried about being evicted and about his
wife Elsie who is on 24 hour life support
(congestive heart failure, Parkinson's and other problems).
They
receive Social Security of $577.00, $1000.00 which is adequate under
normal conditions, but various medical expenses have wrecked their
budget.
He is seeking employment to supplement Social Security.
He asked for assistance with Lot Rent and
overdue payment on trailer.
In His Name Min. would like to
encourage them both. Will you take a moment to imagine being
in their place. . .
Their church home is the Maranatha Baptist.
They are seeking to be closer to God.
He reads his Bible and prays daily. Our interviewer said,
"We had I nice visit. He served during the Korean War . He shared
some of his experiences. I prayed with him for Elsie's healing, for
some work, for this need to be met."
