THE BASIC NEED HAS BEEN MET
Needed: assistance with OG&E bill of $315.65. She is on a cut off notice. A single lady. She has MS and is bed ridden. A daughter and 5 year-old grandson share her home. Her daughter is her night time care-giver who works at a day care earning $6.80 an hour for 30-35 hours a week. A day-time nurse cares for her during the day. She loves playing with her grandson. She is on Disability, receiving $611.00 and food stamps= $155.00. She has a list of contacts, but so far no one has funds to help her. She hasn't been able to attend church in over two years. She reads her Bible with her grandson nightly. Prays a lot since she is bed ridden. She believes with all her heart that God speaks to her. She gave an example of how God helped her get back in bed when she couldn't do it herself. We prayed with her for healing and comfort, for this need, for her family to be saved and be safe, for a closer walk for her. Who will come to her rescue? The Bible contains more than 300 verses on the poor, social justice, and God's deep concern for them. Luke 6:20-21. "Blessed are you who are poor, for yours in the kingdom of God. Blessed are you who hunger now, for you shall be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh."
