Case #9588sha
After her dad dies UPDATE - 01-26-2007
This client is somewhat reclusive, has a halting personality. When she was 18 her dad died. She was all alone. She was on the streets of McAlester for about a week. She was on her own, and survived by asking people to let her stay with them. "I Felt like trash."
In desperation, she hitchhiked to Oklahoma City because she has some relatives here. After arrival she said she found that evil was so present in their house, she could not stay. Then a women's shelter took her in for two weeks. Later she stayed with another relative for about a month; then stayed with a new acquaintance while she applied and waited for approval of low rent housing. Last summer the Lord blessed her with the duplex where she resides now. HEALTH ISSUES Bumps on eyelids Stye-like Chalazions Surgery helped temporarily. There were only 3 growths on
her eyelids before surgery. She said she worked at Sonic for 2 months until another employee allegedly started chiding her about her appearance and spreading false rumors. That resulted in her being dismissed. OUR MINISTRY TO HER CONTINUES She needs someone reliable to depend
on. We will keep talking with her. Our initial counsel will focus on her getting
a job. Please mention Case #9588sha The Bible contains more than 300 verses on the poor, social justice, and God's deep concern for them. Luke 12:33. "Sell your possessions and give to charity; make yourselves purses which do not wear out, an unfailing treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near, nor moth destroys." SEE OTHER SCRIPTURES
