Why Help The Poor

What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister has nothing to wear and has no food for the day, and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well," but you do not give them the necessities of the body, what good is it? So also faith of itself, if it does not have works, is dead." James 2:13-17. .

Poor Health

65-year old man, married, no children at home. He is retired, is on SS $878.00. He had to pay for two months of Part D. Wife is on SS Disability $800.00 -

HEALTH

She has had

• four spine surgeries,

• kidney surgery,

• female surgery.

He's had spine surgery and triple by-pass.
THEIR REQUEST

Asked for help with OG&E $281.79 is on a cut off notice. He paid $240.00 on this. This  ministry paid $40.00
He has a list of numbers - so far no one is helping.
They don't attend church - he is Jewish - she is Baptist. The both read the Scriptures and pray.
I prayed with him for their health, for these needs, for a closer walk with the LORD.

Will you come to her rescue.

The Bible contains more than 300 verses on the poor, social justice, and God's deep concern for them.
