Wants to grow closer to God
Refugee from Cameroon
Job loss creates havoc
A professor
of International law in his home country, on suspicion of sedition, he was
jailed in a small basement for 18 months. Only by the hand of God did he
escape death.
He really
appreciates the friendship from In His Name Ministries and the financial
aid.
Now he is
calling to receive Spiritual guidance to get closer to God (even though he
still has outstanding debts.) When he called the first time he had financial
needs. He has been a refugee for 16 years. Has been in the States four years.
His wife gambled away all their money and property, leaving him with nothing
but $3100 of debt. She even took his papers.
HIS SPIRITUAL QUEST
He has
felt empty after leaving mass. He desired relationship with God. Religion
was empty. Now God has brought him into relationship with Himself and he is
hungry for more. Our associate is the first person to listen and to respond
in love.
His
Mother is very religious person!
They pray together every week. But parents do not understand why he does not
go to Catholic Church.
He is unemployable because INS requires $380.00
to update his papers.
He has
been three months here in Okla. Papers expire June 18th, 2007. He cannot
file for these until after that date.
Our interviewer said, “GOD MET US HERE AND BLESSED BOTH FIDELIS AND ME
ABUNDANTLY! I expect to meet him
soon in his home. Fidelis expressed appreciation for his visit with both
Shorty and I."
