Case 10586
Single lady, age 58, was battered in an assault and battery case January. She was hospitalized for a week and in safe house for five more weeks. Still trying to get her life back in order. She needs $58.08 for OGE, is due 5/8/08.

Case 10572
Single lady had a heart attack last January and recovery seems to be slow. Added to that, her father died Last Easter Sunday. She has gotten so behind that she is asking for help with her rent: needs $550 to avoid eviction 4-28. Her church and son help all they can. She has just been approved for $162 food stamps. No other assistance.

Single grandmother caring for her granddaughter 2 yrs. She is on SS Disability (back problems - emotional) $630.00. DHS $48.00 Receives food stamps $30.00, SEC 8. She needs assistance with OG&E $88.23 was on a cut off set for 04/15/08. Still needed,

 

Case 8645
Single mother with baby 10 months old and baby due May 27th needs help moving into Section 8 house which has been assigned to her. Payment needed to OGE $371.01 to begin service and ONG $231.34 to begin service. She is in her third semester at OCCC, training to become a registered nurse.

Single mother, children 11, 4, and 1 years old needs $200 to make total of $700 monthly rent by April 15th.  Yes she is looking for less expensive place. Just started to work at new job.    Food stamps $298 is the only assistance she gets.  DHS says she makes $6 a month too much to qualify for anything else.  Child support, zero.

Single lady no children. She is on SS Disability (arthritis and knee problems) $675.00.  No other assistance. She needs assistance with $130.00 for OG&E  04/14/08 or service will be disconnected. $130.00 from a donor in Blanchard, OK was used to pay OG&E.

57  year-old single mother, son 21yrs; he is on SS Disability, $434.00. She has applied for SEC 8. She is applying for SS Disability (has brain disease - lot of pain). She needs assistance with Rent $450.00 plus $25.00 late fee.

Single mother with five children, she is pursuing teaching degree at Langston U. She needs rent assistance of $455.38 to avoid eviction. She called from school after landlord called to say she had put eviction notice on her door today 5-08-08.

Single lady, born 1962 with mental and physical disabilities needs $75 help to meet rent that became late on May 7th. SS disability applied for three years ago and award letter is suppose to be in the mail now.

Single mother and three girls, ages 15, 12, 9years need $370 rent to go with the $100 they have for May 1st rent. Child support only $200 monthly but dad is $387 behind now. She is full time student and also works. Daughter is ill and this has put her behind.

Case 8357
Single mother of three children, ages 15, 10, and 7 needs payment to OGE $125.26 to avoid cut off 5-11-08. Child support is Zero. None of the three dads, can be found! Hasn’t worked as a health care provider in week and half because car is broken down.
