Nothing
Can Match This Partnership

Thy will be done,
Lord.

For Christians who know that God intends for them to love others as Christ loved them, we have His Spirit to guide our actions. This is the greatest wonder of the age. Nothing in the world can match this dynamic cooperative effort of a child of God being led by the Spirit of God. Being servant minded and spirit led,
we anticipate being used by God to serve in this world. This is possible
by the impulse and prompting of the Sprit within. We know how to
use resources, where to put our money to accomplish the most for the
Kingdom of God. We know when to help another, when to withdraw.
We watch for God to transform us into more loving persons – a life long
process. For beginners, at first, God may use us and prompt us in
the smallest of ways. Later, as we gain experience, we will find
ourselves being used in works of God that we never dreamed possible before.
We know by the Spirit, not by our
own limited perceptions. An ancient prophet speaking about Christ
yet to come, said, “. . .and he will delight in the fear of the LORD. He
will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears
with his ears; but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice
he will give decisions for the poor of the earth.”
As Christ's partners in service we are destined to continue His work. More than evangelists, we are agents of the most High God who is mightily at work in this world.
