The
Spirit of Christ dwells in these bodies of ours.
We are much more that what the world can see. We can accomplish more than most of us will ever actually accomplish. God is in us. No longer out there, or up there. This is the divine mystery of our covenant (the new covenant). It is especially mysterious in this century, when our points of view are so influenced by our secularized society. Yet in God’s eyes we are the “hope of glory.” The words we speak, the love we share (both tangibly and emotionally) flows out or our hearts in which Christ dwells. Because of this divine mystery, this incredible act of God in our lives, we are made righteous. We should highly respect what God has done in us. We should highly respect other Christians. In a sense, we should be in awe of one another, since the Most High God indwells all of us who serve Him, by serving others in His name.  |
