Where Do You Go To Church?

A Model For Us
The Macedonians.
GIVING OUT OF THEIR POVERTY

"But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will
disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be
destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming."
2 Peter 3: 10-12a  NIV

Let everyone see
that you are
unselfish
and considerate
in all you do.
Philippians. 4:9

THEN YOU WILL SEEN AS ONE OF GOD'S PEOPLE.

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-- his good, pleasing and perfect will.
(NIV) Rom 12:2

THE LORD'S WORK
WHAT IS
IHNM, INC.?

In the world's eye, a strong church may seem to be the one with the most charismatic preacher, large offerings and great programs.  Many in our day would say, “Important spiritual things happen at the church building.”

However, I believe, that it is Jesus Christ in each individual that is the hope of glory. The church who teaches its people

  • to know God
  • to hear Him and
  • to obey Him and
  • to rely on His direction
will build a strong body who will glorify God seven days a week.

In the marketplace, at sporting events, and social occasions of all kinds, the evidence of their life in Christ will draw people to God.  People will be curious, some compelled to find out what happened.   When the whole flock represent God well in the community, people will be asking about the one they call Master, not "where do you GO to church."

Wisdom guides us to have no heroes but Jesus Christ, and to be wary of anything that would take away our God given liberty, or divide our loyalty. The church organization is a means not the end.
