THE GREAT COMMAND
Above Everything Else

OUR WITNESS
THEY WILL KNOW IF

"A new command I give you:
Love one another.
As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
(NIV) John 13:34-35

THEN YOU WILL SEEN AS ONE OF GOD'S PEOPLE.

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-- his good, pleasing and perfect will.
(NIV) Rom 12:2

Above all else a Christian should obey Christ's GREAT COMMANDMENT.   Every Christian knows the Great Commission, but I observe that far less know, and obey the Great Commandment.

When the one we call Master says. “A new command I give you,” all should sit up and pay attention.   Sunday school teachers should be sure that every student practices this above every thing else.  Pastors should frequently build sermons around this topic.  Christians should center conversations around it – compare notes on how they are doing to follow Christ's New Commandment.

In war the over riding command must be understood and followed by every officer and soldier to insure victory.

The same is true for the success of our mission.  The Great Commandment under girds everything else, even the Great Commission.

The Salvation Christ gives us enables us to

Love Others As He Loved Us!
