WHAT HAS IT DONE TO ME?
The Easter Season

What Did His Death and Resurrection Do For The World?

How Does My Life Reflect It?

THE EASTER SEASON
A time to reflect,
to be grateful,
to rejoice,
to be mindful of the influence of the resurrected Christ in our own lives.

The Practice of Christianity

His love in our hearts keeps expanding our ability to love others as Christ loves us.

Practice makes perfect.
By dying
to what once bound
us we have been released
from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.
(NIV) Rom7:6

TODAY'S CASES OF NEED

As we meditate on the event of Christ's resurrection, it is a good time to reflect too, on how that event has changed me.  Does my every day life reflect a New Testament or Old Testament response to God? Am I law led or Spirit led?

Without the resurrection we Christians have nothing to proclaim to the world.  Our demonstration of the “saved life” is our witness to the truth of what God did at the Cross.
The world, one person at a time, will come to believe our message as each one of us live in the power of the resurrection.

No longer my life, but Christ in me.  No longer just trying to be righteous, but to trust Christ in me to make me obedient and righteous.  Easter is a time to celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord.  It also is a time to resolve to let Him rule our lives.  As the world makes New Year's resolutions, we Christians let Easter draw us to a fresh repentance, and a renewed dependence on the inner guidance system which Christ has placed inside of us.
