Like A Well Watered Garden

The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.(-Isaiah 58:11). God will do this when you-- ". . .share your food with the hungry and . . .provide the poor wanderer with shelter-- when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? (-Isaiah 58:7). Just do to others what you would want them to do for you in the same circumstances. Or as Jesus said it, love others as I have loved you. The Lord wants to guide us, if we decide to walk with him and not fight against his desires. Christ will even help us want to want to walk with God! YESTERDAY'S CHALLENGE ". . .we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (NIV) Eph. 2:10 |
