Each One Of Us
can accomplish good, even in menial tasks that are done in His Name.
Connecting
people to individuals who need a friend in deed. |
Jesus
commands us to—"Love one another". He said, "As I have loved you (take
up your cross daily) , so you must love one another."
This is of utmost importance
because, "By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love
one another." -John 13:34-35
Our witness is affected
by how well we obey this command.
We are not alone in this
quest of being people who love others. Christ gave us the Holy Spirit who
inspires, reminds, directs is, IF we depend on Him to do so.
We can
-
Ask God to allow us to see
the needs of others through His eyes.

Ask to be instilled with
a quality of compassion that equals His own compassion.

Expect to become more forgiving,
more merciful, less judgmental, more generous—
-
Even to begin to give to
others as though we were giving to Christ himself.
