An Important Message From John

If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. That's what it means to be a Christian—God is living in us, and we in Him.

So we no longer rely on our own ability to love others. Now we know and rely on the love of God and His wisdom in us. As his representative in our homes, among friends and in the marketplace, God's love in us is reflected to others. His Spirit prompts right action, radiates grace through us, holds back our judgmental compulsions.

Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him. (NIV) I John 4:15-17
