FAITH HENRY
Sulphur, Oklahoma May 29, 2004 An e-mail today from In His Name's board member Pat Warme. Please pray for my pastor's five year old granddaughter. Her name is Faith Henry. She was life-flighted to Children's Hospital on Monday from Sulphur. She has Viral Pneumonia. She has gotten worse since she got there and is on a ventilator.
She had a lung scan then she was sedated and put on the ventilator. At this point, don't know when they will try to bring her off.
Our pastor's wife Shirley, called this a.m. [05/29/04] and said there is an air pocket in her lung, which is not a good thing. I don't understand it all, but Please keep parents, Denise and Doug Henry, Grandparents, Paul and Shirley Foust and OF COURSE, little Faith in your prayers. Luke, the little brother, got sick this week and we were all fearful he might have the same thing, but it appears he has a sinus infection and is doing okay. He is 2 and away from his sister and parents, so it's got to be a rough time for him also. Someone arranged for Denise and Doug to stay in the Ronald McDonald House in Okla. City, so that is helping them out tremendously. Please pray for all those caring for Faith that they will be alert to and doing everything possible for her. The doctor said keep prayers coming, he sees the difference in children who are being prayed for! Love you both, Pat [Warme]

07/15/04 She
had a doctor's appointment last Tuesday and all looked good. She has
been at church and is looking good and had been skating and swimming last
week, so Praise God for such good progress. Faith is home after spending several more days in the hospital. She was at church Sunday, but did not look up to par. She still needs our prayers. Another follow up on Tuesday. 06/25/04 X-Ray shows an air pocket above the lung
Please pray for Faith. She is back
in the hospital. An x-ray earlier in the week showed an air
pocket above the lung and when she went back in for a CAT Scan the
doctor wanted her back in the hospital and they will probably put the
tube back in to drain the lung. That's the latest news as of last
night.
06/24/04 The doctor doesn't like the way X-rays look.
Just had a call from Shirley, Faith's
Granny. We need more prayers. She went to the doctor today
and had lung x-rays. The doctor doesn't like the way they are
looking. She will return Thursday for a CAT Scan to get to the
bottom of the problem. She has lost 16 lbs. and doesn't have much
of an appetite. She has to go fasting on Thursday and her
appointment is not until 1 p.m. Please be praying for our little
Faith. Thanks, Pat

Denise, Mom, said she will have lab work in 2 weeks and to especially pray for good report on that. Thanks, and Love you in the Lord, Pat ~~~
06/09/04 Good News From Pat Warme I have wonderful news, a "Praise Report". Faith was able to come home to Sulphur yesterday. Thank you everyone for your prayers! She will spend the summer recovering. She has a doctor's visit on Thursday for x-rays of her lungs.....pray that will be a good report and continue to lift her up in the months ahead as she recovers. Thanks again for all the prayers. We know "God hears our prayers" and praise Him for His answers. To God be the glory! 06/08/04 RESPONSE FROM THOSE PRAYING- June 23,2004 From Nancy in Little Rock

Littleton, Colorado So happy to hear that Faith is improving! Our prayer chain at St. James Presbyterian Church here in Littleton has been praying for her. I will pass on the update and ask them to continue to pray for Faith throughout the summer. J. B. ~~~ HALLELUJAH!!! God is real and He keeps His word! Pat. B ~~~ Praise God! I will update those who are praying for Faith and we will continue to keep her and the family in our prayers. -Bob- ~~~ Praise the name of the LORD forever! Nancy ~~~ Hallelujah! Thanks for sharing. I appreciate you. Teresa. ~~~ 06/05/04 From Pat Warme Today's word on Faith is that she is OUT OF ICU ....PRAISE THE LORD! She is doing breathing treatments with a little resistance, but even that causes her to use her lungs, so works out for good. Hoping she will be able to come home the first part of the week.
06/04/04 From Pat Warme Word came last night that Dr's are trying to take Faith off the strong oxygen and morphine. Hope is that the hole in the lung will heal and she can gradually come off the morphine, but when she is in much pain she is still getting some morphine. She is frightened of everything, even the oxygen. [PRAY FOR GOD'S PEACE] She has been through a lot of painful procedures and has a way to go Thank you all for praying, From Pat Warme
May 31, 2004 "Yesterday they were starting to wean her off the ventilator. They found another air pocket which means they have to drain, I think this is the second time to do that. Pray she will come off the ventilator and be able to stay off. The family welcomes all the prayers they can get."
So lets keep lifting her and her family up to God. In His presence all things work together for good. ~~~ From someone who is praying Please let Pat know that our men's group and our Chapel prayer group who meet each Sunday are praying for Faith and the family. I appreciate your letting me know of this need and we'll continue to keep Faith before God's throne of grace. Many of those praying have their own individual prayer groups, not only here in OK, but in other states and some international. God bless you, Bob D. ~~~ May 31, 2004 Thank you for the web site asking for prayers for Faith. I see 11 hits, so that's possibly 11 more praying for her. There was a message on my answering machine when I came home a few minutes ago saying Faith is awake and doing better. - Pat Warme |
