Jesus gave a new command:  Love others as I have loved you. This is of utmost importance because, "By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." -John 13:34-35

WHAT IS IN HIS NAME MINISTRIES?

One example of Christian Ministry is friendship - acts of love in Christ's name.  

More than just reaching out, it is expecting God to be involved at the point of contact and in the time together.

At In His Name Ministries we may offer a 60-second lesson from the Bible, when appropriate.  Or we may just emphasize a Biblical truth. We also pray with most people.

Our goal is to bring the person to a closer position with God.  Or to introduce them if they are not one of God's people.

God made us so we need Him and we need fellowship with others.  Ministry is connecting to another In His name and expecting God's involvement.

Jesus said when two or three come together in His name, He is there.  So in faith we expect His presence as we converse with a client. 

The results are up to Him.

Later we may be directed back to a client for follow-up action.
